“After 10 sessions you’ll notice a difference, after 20 sessions others will notice…,
after 30 you’ll have a whole new body…”
Joseph Pilates
What is Pilates?
Pilates is an exercise method based on the work of Joseph Pilates. Its focus is on strengthening and stabilizing the core (the abdominals, back and pelvic girdle region), restoring
the natural curves of the spine, rebalancing the muscles around the joints, increasing flexibility and improving postural problems.
Pilates Reformer
The Pilates reformer, with it's sophisticated system of springs, straps and pulleys can help you achieve more than 100 exercises, making it a fun, versatile and challenging workout.
What results can you expect from using the Reformer? Long, lean, toned muscles, a strong core, improved posture and increased energy and stamina!
Truly "reforming" the way you MOVE, LOOK and FEEL!
Please note: The Pilates reformer classes require an orientation class of 1hr. During this orientation, you will review with your instructor: settings, basic principles, warm ups and essential level exercises.
How often should I do Pilates?
We recommend a minimum of twice per week (mat and/or reformer), however, the addition of a yoga or personal training session will heighten your results. If you are looking to join a group class, a one-on-one private session is highly recommended to ensure you understand and can apply the basic principles of Pilates to each individual exercise.
