What is Holistic Nutrition and Detox?

Holistic Nutrition looks at the person as a whole; dietary intake, lifestyle and genetic background. It is the science and study of proper balance within the diet to promote health with detox holistica focus on whole foods and natural supplements, which are utilized in the maintenance of health.

The focus is on prevention and the use of natural therapies with the understanding that prevention is the best way to maintain health and wellness.

Initial Consultation (approx 1hr in length) + Program Design (1hr) Preparation
Client brings a 3-5 day record of their food intake which includes how the client feels before, during and after their meal (angry, sad, bloated, gas, fatique.etc.) In addition to the food journal the client brings observations surrounding their health in general (i.e. ease of digestion, allergies, energy level, reactions to certain foods, depression). During the hour, the client will answer a series of health-related questions to help determine the best approach for the client’s concerns. A follow-up appointment is made 2-3 days after the initial consultation.

Between the Initial consultation and follow-up session an individualized program is made based on the information gathered from the Initial consultation.

Follow-up (approx 30mins in length) During the follow-up, 2-3 days after the Initial consultation the client will be given their program as well answer any questions they may have in regards to their program. An additional follow-up is recommended, usually 2 weeks after the follow-up. This timeframe differs with each client, as every client’s needs are unique.
